Here is the original Golden Axe in all it's glory. This is arguably the best in the series,
and paved the way for the other Golden Axe's. As you can see, this is a first generation Megadrive game, but, considering
this, it has quite good visuals.

Here is Golden Axe 2, the second in the prolific series. This is, in my opinion, second
only to the original in terms of quality. The graphics are, once again, first generation, but they are slightly improved over
the original, so they are rather good.

This is Golden Axe 3, and it comes in the form of this decidedly below-average game.
As mentioned before, this is the game that probably destroyed the Golden Axe franchise. Also, you can see the graphics are
basically the same as the original, which is dire seeing as this is a third generation Megadrive game. A disappointment.

This is the aptly titled Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder, where Death Adder takes
his revenge. This actually appeared before Golden Axe 3, and is seen as the true sequel to the original. As I have
never played this game, due to the fact that it appeared only in arcades, I can only judge it from the limited information
and screenshots I have access to. It has fantastic visuals, and the few people to have played it claim it to be the finest
in the series. I hope to have a go on this one in the near future.

Here is Golden Axe: The Duel, a 2D fighting game which appeared on the Saturn and
in the Arcades. It looks good compared to the Megadrive games, but for a Saturn game it has below normal quality graphics.
The control scheme is slightly above medium standards, but on the whole it is an average game, and not a patch on some of
the fighting games that were arriving circa 1995 i.e. Virtua Fighter and Tekken.
