For those of you who know, the Sega Megadrive is an awesome games console. Never has a games machine captured the imagination
of many, many people. As a young boy I got a Sega Megadrive for Christmas, coupled with Sonic the Hedgehog. This was my favourite
Christmas present at the time.
Several children my age also acquired a Megadrive at the time. Known as the Genesis in America, the Megadrive was released
in Europe in 1990, to critical acclaim, and continued on until it's ineviatable death in 1998. This meant it had a strong
threshold on the gaming market for eight varied years.
Throughout the website will be history, information and opinions on the almighty Megadrive. There is also sections devoted
to certain things, such as the Sonic in the Arcades section, that may not be directly linked to the Megadrive, but they contain
information regarding characters that appeared on the Megadrive.
So sit back, and enjoy the the site I have constructed for you, the avid Megadrive faithful, and the installed Megadrive
